History
1996 :Founded by H.M Lukminto as a traditional trading company in Pasar Klewer, Solo
1968 : Established its first printing factory that produced bleached and dyed fabrics in Solo.
1982 : Established its first weaving factory.
1992: Expanded the factories of its four product
lines and achieved one-roof integration.
1994 :Became the designated military uniform
produced for NATO and the German army.
1997 :Iwan Setiawan succeeded the bussiness.
2001 :Sritex survived from the 1998 Asian financial
crisis and multiplied its growth eight times its size in 1992.
2010 :Despite challenging world economic
conditions, Sritex suceeded to overcome the crisis.
2012 :Sritex managed to double its growth and
performance compared to 2001.
2013 :Successfully carry out an Initial Public
Offering and become Public Listed Company in the textile and garment industry.
Sritex during this year also underwent significant expansion by acquiring, PT
Sinar Pantja Djaja in Semarang.
2014 : In the 1st quarter of 2014 Sritex successfully
issued bond worth US$ 200 Million.

Production unit
Spinning
The spinning division transforms fiber into
yarn. Sritex continuously improves its production through upgrading with the
latest state-of-art machineries & technologies.
Comprimising of 14 spinning plants ( including PT Sinar Panja Djaja ) with a
total of 5,000 employees.
The spinning division is supported by 2,500 machines with more than 530,000
ring-spindle & modified machines imported from Europe & Asia.
Weaving
The weaving division transforms yarn into
greige. Employing outstanding technology to produce various types of fabric
with light, medium, and heavy construction.
Comprising of 3 weaving plants with 4,000 employees. The weaving division is
supported by 2,600 weaving machines, including high-speed looms.
Dyeing & Printing
With more than 45 years experience in Dyeing
and Printing, Sritex has become a role model of world class textile companies.
The dyeing & printing transforms greige into finished fabric. Comprising of
1,000 employees and supported by 3 continuous-dyeing production lines, 9 rotary
printing machines, 12 jet dyeing machines, 9 stenter machines.
Garment
Sritex has successfully accomplished a
one-roof “super mall”, world class textile company by establishing its Garment
unit.
The Garment division transforms fabric into ready-to-wear clothing. Comprising
of 7,000 employees in 8 garment units supported by 6,350 machineries.
